Meet Denise!

Hi! My name is Denise Cardenas and I am a New York City based freelance makeup artist. I have 10 years of experience in the beauty industry and I am now employed as a Beauty Advisor. Since my journey as a makeup artist began, I have worked hard to hone my craft, master various makeup techniques, and build a reputation for myself. Throughout my career, I've worked in a diverse range of events - from prom nights and halloween, to wedding days and headshot portraits. 

I believe my expertise in creating flawless and customized makeup looks tailored to each client's unique features is what sets me apart from other makeup artists. My attention to detail, creativity, and dedication to enhancing natural beauty has earned me the trust and loyalty of clients throughout the years. 

I continuously stay updated on the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products in the ever-evolving world of makeup artistry. My passion for beauty and respect for client preferences make me a trusted and reliable choice for anyone looking to elevate their natural beauty. 

I consider myself a multitalented individual and I love learning new skills. Some of my hobbies include baking, cooking, sketching, screenwriting, and graphic/web design. I am currently studying Writing for TV/Film and I am hoping to attain my B.S. degree in 2025.

I am also a mother of two beautiful children - Noah and Zuri, who are the reason behind everything I do. ♡
